THE PROPERTY

This mountain hut has been renovated into a very special kind of haven in Wattenberg. The hut’s façade was left in its original so that it still blends in with the stunning mountains.

Just the windows were replaced with new ‘casement windows’. The inside has been fully renovated with the ceiling being removed in the living area. All the wall and ceiling panelling was also insulated and designed in ‘waste wood’. The floor has also been re-laid using the same wood.

The result is two sleeping cabins with sliding doors, each with 160 cm wide ‘alcove style’ beds. A fully functioning bathroom and spacious wooden patios outdoors complete this little gem.
